Essential requirements:
Educational Qualification:
Candidate must be a Graduate in Arts/ Science/ Commerce from any recognized University.
AND
Degree/ Diploma in Music having knowledge and experience in Traditional Folk Music of
Assam and India.
Experience:
- No Experience needed.
Age Limit:
The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2022.
The upper age limit is relaxable :
- By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. upto 43 years.
- By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years as per Govt. Notification No. ABP.6/2016/9 dated Dispur the 25th April 2018.
- Persons with benchmark disability (PWBD) 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and UR Category of candidates as per Govt. Memorandum No. ABP 180/2017/105 dated Dispur the 7th January, 2019.
Pay Scale:
Pay scale + Grade Pay + Other allowances as admissible to the Assam State
Government employees from time to time (per month).
- Pay scale – Rs. 14,000/- to 60,500/-
- Grade Pay – Rs. 8,700/-
- Pay band – PB- 2

How to apply for APSC Cultural Development Officer?
Applicants who have not registered yet, in Online Recruitment Portal of APSC are first required to go to the APSC’s recruitment website and register themselves by clicking on ‘Register Here’ link and complete the One Time Registration(OTR) process by providing basic details.
After creating an account, applicants need to login with the credentials.
After login, applicants need to provide One Time Registration details such as Personal Information, Educational Qualification, Work Experience, Photo & Signature and other required documents. Once these details are submitted, applicants will be able to download the One Time Registration details. Then applicants can click on Home->Dashboard and see the live advertisements of APSC in ‘Apply Section’.
