What is KVK?

Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) is a project supported by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Department of Agricultural Research and Education under Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India. The project is being implemented by an Non government Organisation named Agricultural Science Foundation since 1985. KVK is located in Hulkoti village of Gadag district in Karnataka State.

Essential requirements:

Educational Qualification:

1. Subject Matter Specialist (Agricultural Extension): Master’s Degree in Agricultural Extension or equivalent from recognized Agricultural University.
2. Skilled Support Staff (Field Assistant): Matriculation or Equivalent pass or ITI Pass.

Age Limit:

1. Subject Matter Specialist (Agricultural Extension): 35 Years
2. Skilled Support Staff (Field Assistant): 25 Years

Pay Scale:

1. Subject Matter Specialist (Agricultural Extension): L-10, Rs.56100-177500+DA+HRA

1. Skilled Support Staff (Field Assistant): L-1, Rs.18000-56900 + DA + HRA

HOW TO APPLY?

SC/ST and Women candidates are exempted from paying processing fee.
5.
